Špindlerův Mlýn Ski Resort

The most famous and modern winter resort in the Czech Republic. It is a World Cup venue and a place that caters to demanding athletes, families with children, and lovers of mountain panoramas alike.

The entire resort is connected by free ski buses and offers two main parts. Svatý Petr is the heart of sporting action, featuring the renowned black FIS World Cup slope and the long red run on Hromovka. On the other side of the valley rises Medvědín, which is bathed in sunshine thanks to its orientation and offers wide slopes as well as a connection to the Horní Mísečky family area.

Resort Overview:

  • Ski Slopes: a total of 27 km of daily groomed runs of all difficulty levels.
  • Lifts and Cable Cars: transport capacity of approx. 21 000 people per hour, 6 chairlifts (including modern heated six-seaters) and 11 surface lifts.
  • Night Skiing: every evening from 18:00 to 21:00 on the Hromovka slope (1 540 m) – it is the longest floodlit slope in the CR.
  • Snowpark: located in the central part of the Horní Mísečky area with its own ski lift, plus a Funtrack with fun features at the start of the “Machytka” 13a slope.
  • FastPass: a skipass for the innogy line Svatý Petr, Medvědín, Hromovka, and Horní Mísečky lifts – offers priority boarding all day long.
  • Fresh Track: Opportunity for morning skiing from 7:30 to 9:30 (every Friday, Saturday, Sunday) on fresh “corduroy” before the official opening of the lifts (including a rich breakfast).

Ski Buses and Parking

For your maximum comfort, we recommend using the ski bus service according to the timetable, which connects the hotel directly with the Svatý Petr and Medvědín ski areas. The “Montana” stop is located directly at our hotel and is served by Line No. 1 – the green line.

Ski bus operation is provided from 13 December 2025 to 15 March 2026.

Parking directly at the ski resorts can be a challenge during the peak winter season and on weekends. Parking capacities at the base stations fill up very quickly, often in the early morning hours.

Public parking options in the center and near the resorts:

  • P1 Bedřichov (by the dam): Central intercept parking at the entrance to the town. Often has the largest capacity; ski buses continue from here to the lifts.
  • P2 Hromovka: An ideal starting point for skiing in Svatý Petr. This parking lot tends to fill up first (usually by 9:00 AM).
  • P3 Medvědín: Parking directly at the Medvědín cable car, limited capacity.
  • P4 Horní Mísečky: Located next to the lower station of the Horní Mísečky – Medvědín cable car. An ideal starting point for cross-country skiing trails.
